Hotel Illa d'Or & Club Apts

Lovely meal, super location and the waitresses (Halima and Magdalen’s) were excellent. Both fish dishes were first class. Restaurant was pretty full so need to book to be sure of a table.

How wonderful it is to return to our little paradise. As ever, we were greeted in such a friendly manner and experienced a high level of service which is also very relaxed. We met our usual lovely friends and the staff treated us so well. We gave booked for next year because, why not? The views and location of this hotel are exceptional. Thank you so much all staff for another brilliant stay. One more addition, it is like putting on a glove which fits perfectly.

We have visited Puerto Pollensa on a number of occasions using village accommodation, each visit we would see Hotel Illa D’Or and placed it on our hotel bucket list. For our August 2025 trip we booked a double room, sea view with balcony. Although pricey, the images looked inviting. The check in was relatively efficient albeit the reception staff could have been somewhat more welcoming. Undeterred we were shown to our room, the ‘vestibule/hallway/entrance gap’ was just that. It was so narrow that two people couldn’t pass each other at the same time. The room itself was neat, tidy and compact verging towards small for the price. The bathroom was clean, however as with the bedroom, it was somewhat small with space wasted due to the shower cabinet encroaching on one side of the single sink worktop area. The best element of the accommodation turned out to be the surprisingly spacious balcony which had a cabana. The hotel dining area was fairly well stocked for breakfast with the usual Mediterranean fare on display, the only observation I was make is that there is no coffee machines for customer use and there are no water stations anywhere in the hotel which is particularly inconvenient in such arm temperatures. During our stay we had an issue with the room which the hotel dealt with. We were offered a free evening meal as compensation but settled for our room service bill (2 small orders) to be waived instead. While a nice gesture, I was somewhat surprised when the customer service manger presented me with document which was tantamount to to Non Disclosure Agreement in relation to the any specifics of the issue that they responded to being detailed on social media or the like. Correspondingly, while I question the legality of that, let alone the practice of the hotel doing this, I have refrained to detail what the issue was and confirm that the matter was responded to. This hotel, which has been added from the original building over many years, suffers from the old being out of step with the new and thus overpriced for what it provides in the supposed more select ‘sea view with balcony’ accommodation. Its position on Pine Walk is idyllic and the outside restaurant is fantastic to dine at, albeit when busy service is glacial. The food is good, but as with the hotel, overpriced. Suffice to say, it’s off the bucket list.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, beautiful people. Go every year. Bike garage for cyclists. Good breakfast. Stunning location for evening meal - La Terrassa.

So good we booked for next year before we left! From the moment I arrived, this hotel impressed me. The staff were outstanding – polite, friendly, and genuinely attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Every detail was carefully considered, from the spotless rooms to the thoughtful turndown service with chocolates. I had the best facial in a stunning room complete with candles and fresh rose petals and again super caring staff . The spa was contemporary clean and tranquil with large sauna , ice bath chips and relaxing beds Breakfast was a true highlight: beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious – more like a work of art than a hotel buffet. The entire hotel was immaculately clean, and the balance of relaxed yet refined service made the experience faultless. I left feeling completely cared for. The location is perfect a few steps from the tranquil sea and you can relax at family pool, adults pool or right on the shoreline. The waiting staff always available when needed to bring you fresh towels or a cooling aperol spritz We had standard room that was far from standard . Generous size super Comfey beds and soo quiet! Normally in hotels you expect to hear other guests coming and going but not this hotel . 7 nights of uninterrupted sleep
